According to the Buffalo Evening News Pommenville and Miller have no-trade clauses but I'd imagine they'd consider waiving them if it meant heading to a more competitive team.  Vanek doesn't have the same luxury.  A major crossroad's on the horizon for the Sabre franchise.

Last couple of albums haven't really done anything for me, but they had a heck of a run.

The "Hip" have not been relevant for a good decade.

As for Buffalo, if I am them I dump Regier overboard and shed as many vets as I can, complete overhaul.

I do not think the fans would have a problem with a rebuild. Dump as many Ruff soldiers for picks as possible and move on as a franchise.
