Well, I expect a good one here. Nucks flopping all over the ice like fish out of water and Kings going for the big hit.

If it is only half as exciting as the Pens/Philly game I will be satisfied.

As an aside, hats off to Brodeur for winning his 100th post season game:

That is an accomplishment to be proud of.

Nucks doing an excellent job attacking the puck in the early going. Quick is going to have to be on his game until things calm down.

A few less "GREAT SAVE LUONGO" quips by CBC so far as opposed to last game. Perhaps Hughson does read his hate mail after all.

It's going to feel good when the Nucks are down 0-2. A whole summer of hearing how Keith and the refs cost them the Cup.

Heh....no kidding. The TSN and Sportsnet boards (along with Null here) will be going nuts with outlandish conspiracy theories. Especially after that weak call on Bieksa there.

Refs calling a pretty tight game here. Advantage to whoever has the better PP....

Interesting to hear Simpson saying it favours the Nucks to keep it 5 on 5. Oh, the irony.

Man, yet another weak call. This time against LA. Very discouraging.

Kopitar almost just made it 2-0 on a nice play.  Too bad.

Could we be witness to an upset here? I seem to remember many pundits, before the season started, picking LA to do well this year. Maybe they are late bloomers.

jm - Had Kopitar put in his opportunity after picking the Canuck D-guy's pocket that would have been a dagger stuck right in there.

On paper, they've got the right pieces. Star goalie, star D-man with decent support, and a forward group that's as deep down the middle as any team in hockey (outside of Boston). I don't think they'll win this year but they could.

What do you think they need, dez?  More experience involved in the process of winning at this point in their development?

Early pressure is good for team character. Oh yeah, it's the Nucks, forget it.
