I do all I can to steel my heart against high hopes for a stud to show up like a late Christmas present, but now you guys have gotten my hopes up.

However, if he doesn't show up this time I swear I'm going to Sweden and hunt him down.

LOL... that's way too much, I bet you're shopping online.   When playoffs in Sweeden are over and he's not in Boston I'll send you a ticket.

And one of those bi - bi something - bilingual?  Swedish girls to translate for me.

I just had another idea about why he might want to stay in Sweden, but I don't want to speculate.

Blues in 2004. He is a left-handed shot, which, as it turns out, could make him a nice fit for the left wing spot on Boston's slumping third line with Chris Kelly and Rich Peverley. That is assuming he's ready for the NHL and isn't relegated to Providence.

I am pretty sure I read somewhere that Soderberg is adamant about coming to N.A. to play in the NHL and he would NOT report to Providence.

That could be a big problem while he learns about life and our system this side of the pond...

I'm sure PC knows all about him not wanting to go to the AHL , it's only 4 years he's been trying to bring him over and all that was stopping the deal to get done was a oneway contract.  I think PC is ready to give him that contract (1year ?)  and if he doesn't cut it in the NHL he'll just be a healthy scratch and/or might be put on waivers.  The dollar value will reflect the risks.

Chiarelli was willing to sign Krug with the understanding that Krug would remain in the NHL for the remainder of the season.  I don't think that would be an issue at this time.  He'd still have to earn ice-time, though.

Only difference I think , since Soderberg is Bruns property , he will be able to play in the playoffs no matter when they sign him.   Right ?

I can tell you - as I type with bandaged wrists - that earlier in this thread the question came up about being playoff eligible and the answer seems to be yes because he's Bruins property.

The new CBA isn't posted anywhere, so there doesn't seem to be a good source for this.

All I can find is the discussion of Kreider, which says that a player must be on the team's Reserve List before 3 pm the day of the trade deadline.  Allegedly, Soderberg is already on the Bruins' Reserve List, so there shouldn't be a problem.

Yes.  I admit.  I regret being so emotional about it, but after getting burned all the other years a new Soderberg rumor caused me to blow a gasket.

oh well, some charity will get the benefit, that is, if this happens.  If he doesn't show up again I'll snap.  I'll hunt him down some way some how.

I'm emotionally committed at this point.  If he doesn't show again I swear I'm not going to take it lying down.  I'll find his email address and start a spam campaign or I'll hold my breath until I turn blue or self destruct or something.  I'll show him.
