This is the real me Dottie, please do your best to keep me here, and not bump me every third week. I'm harmless and rarely negative.

Happenings on this board recently.
Posts removed at a frenetic pace never seen before for a couple of reasons ? Some posters and their comments just don't belong on here. Kudo's to that.
The other reason ? An infestation of cheese eaters trying to get back at other posters they don't care for. I'm not a big fan of the " I'm telling on you " approach amongst regular posters. Tsk tsk to that.

Can we get rid of this yet? It's been up since last August.
Oh, BDCDottie: You and your team failed miserably. Your attempts to replicate the old forum were weak.
No yellow stars? So, so, so weak. -

pretty funny that the only changes I can see are a removal of comments that point out how brutal the pace of the changes have actually been.
keep up the good work!

There should be a like Button. Maybe a thumbs down as well. I shouldn't have to copy a post in order to express agreement.

Is BDC still working on "delete post" button ?
"There should be a like Button. Maybe a thumbs down as well."
This function is on other sites and I agree I like that option, saves time.

Hey guys, we're not working on a delete post button; that wasn't a feature of the old forums, and it would be pretty complicated to implement. Glad you're happy with the Ignore button and the gold stars.
I like the Thumbs Up and Down suggestion ... let me talk to our developers about that one.

Can we get a "Delete Bookboy" button? I promise to only use it once.

Anyone notice that their post isn't "taking"?
You click 'add your post' and the thread appears again, but without your added post?
Then I refresh the page a few times and then finally my post appears.
Then you might end up posting the same thing twice?

Yes had this feature. If we didn't like our post on a thread we had the choice of deleting it.

There has been a lot of traffic to Boston.com due to the Marathon cowards. My guess is that this is the reason. -

why are the letters s and h when combined not allowed, this is a hockey forum and the s h stand for shorthanded, it is so annoying to have to go back and change it every time.

I can vouch for that. There certainly was a delete button in the old forum.

Shawn, I've put all of the photos of you on the bench between shifts typing BDC posts into your phone in an envelope and mailed it to BDC. The instructions read: post to Bruins forum in the event that Bookboy007 is deleted.Your move, Shawn. Your move....

This is the closest this thread has ever come to being amusing. No idea what dez's post is supposed to mean, but with the bold font and type size, I'm reading it in some sort of William Wallace voice. Nice....
nite - s h is shorthand for s--t head.

I made that post in response to the thread you created cheering the fact this thread was no longer at the top of the page. For you, I made sure it was there again,if only for a brief moment. No need to thank me or anything. I know I'm awesome (or something anyway).
