    Chiarelli/Julien press conference.

    So far we have learned:

    1. Bergeron had a little hole/puncture in his lung among numerous other ailments and has been in the hospital since the end of game 6.

    2. Andrew Ference will not be returning.

    3. Jaromir Jagr will not be returning.

Julien is a great coach. Cant argue with his track record. Going to miss AF. Good luck to Jagr. Thank God we will not see Pandolfo again. PC said he may retain Redden which could be good as a league minimum d-man.  Hopefully Horton will take a hometown discount because 6 mil for 5-6 yrs is too much.

I love the idea of Redden taking over the role played by Johnson this year. 7th guy ready to step in when necessary. Seems like an upgrade to me.

Watched the press conference a little while ago on the Bruins website. With the cup just ending, Draft coming up, Bergeron in the hospital, a long conversation with Ference and realizing the cap reality is here- Chiarelli looked absolutely spent.

I like Horton and think he's a talented player but any GM in this league that gives him 6 mill a yr should be fired on the spot.
