I saw this happen and laughed my can off.
My TiVo is on the blink, so I couldn't make a movie for SanDog.
Thanks for posting it!

I wonder if Julien's comments about the officiating, especially lately, helps or hurts the Bruins in the long run.. Everyone knows it's a battle you will never win.. There is a reason the Bruins have the lowest amount of PP chances in the league, I believe the Shabs have double their PP opportunities.. What gives? Do the refs really look at the Bruins differently than other teams? Hope not , and I don't think so, but it makes you wonder though..

I found it as I was checking out another Torts rant. (below)

CJ is great at getting fired up behind the bench but Torts is my favorite. I just love to see him PO'd, it makes me chuckle cause he gets so mad. I think it's the smiling while yelling that I get a kick out of.

It was a terrible call. Khudobin was just trying to get back. into position and the player ran into his stick. This one time at band camp, I went down into the butterfly, a player behind me got hit with the knob of my stick in his mouth and was bleeding. I got a double minor for high sticking a guy who ws in my crease behind me that I didnt see. ...

Claude is sucking and blowing at the same time. Everyone embellishes (Bruins too) and its always embarrassing. If everyone wears a cage there's nothing to embellish, there's nothing to hurt or draw blood from, last night, Kunitz plays right through Khudobin's inadvertent stick, no harm no foul, play continues.
There will always be embellishment as long as there is strategic merit in doing so, in exploiting a stupid rule. Want to eliminate high-stick embellishment? Eliminate the discretionary penalty calls that cause it. Eliminate the high-sticking penalty. Everyone wears a cage. The less required of the referee the better
