Which I am sure I am telling u guys and ladies nothing u don't already know, but to no-ones surprise he had A great night for himself by going knee to knee hit on this leagues better younger players Valeri Nichushkin. Once again what's it going take? another guy sitting next savard unable to play the game that they love. Ridiculous

I don't blame Cooke anymore. I blame the NHL players. They should have taken him out long ago. He'll do it again.

The thing is, players know they can't since the league has cracked down on "vigilante justice" with the instigator rule and suspensions for events like Thornton/Orpik.

The league needs to get serious about guys who play to injure, period. Cooke long ago should have gotten a Bertuzzi-like suspension, forced to sit for a long, long time and then petition the league to get a chance to come back.

Is this serious?? Looks like a pretty clear slew-foot, Samuelsson-on-Neely kind of hit.

Any chance this is a hip check gone badly?  On the slow motion close up in the video that San posted, Cooke turns his skate in before impact.  If one were "sticking his leg out", the blade would go the other way.

Next thing you know we'll be reviewing the video to see if Cooke had a knife hidden in his hockey pants."For a minute there i thought it was a set of brass knuckles but when he turns you can clearly see the flash on the blade",this guy has gone so long with this crap its unreal,he's like Paulie"Walnuts" on skates.

He is so good at this, makes it look like a good check.

This has nothing to do with where his skate goes. He has the body targeted but lets the body go by. He then contains the leg with his stick so it has nowhere to go but his lower hip and thigh, noway that buddy can get by him. He has him sliced and diced. It's just the way the Cookie crumbles.

Yup. dr. Cooke meant to do it on Karlsson.    He must have taught the buddy who did bollands as well.  Dr Kassian Who is also a jaw breaking specialist for those with jaw bone structure issues.

How there hasn't been a situation similar to Thorton/Orpik is beyond me. This crap continues to happen, and he continues to happen.
