That has been around for hundreds of years, I heard that Gordie Howe did it. I did it in a pick up game once and it doesn't take the opposition long to start yelling 'hit his stick' - because that's all it takes when you do that.
0.0 for originality, doing that at the start or end or in the middle or in some combination with something(s) else might actually throw a goalie off

Perhaps his next attempt will be to put the puck on the flat side of his stick blade and throw it in lacrosse-style like Corey Perry did in the All-Star SO.

It was awfully close to going in. Im bet that most goalies not named Rask would have been scored on. Mabye not the best choice of moves, but it was entertaining.

I can't believe he said he's practiced the move for 3 years. That shouldn't take more than an hour or so to perfect. It's something I'd do on the river as a kid. It's child's play.
