Almost as pathetic as some of the fans on these boards giving out about new hockey fans (or new Bruins fans) jumping on the bandwagon.

I feel that if you are truly a fan of hockey then any new fans is a bonus. It's the greatest sport in the world and yet they draw behind EVERY major sport on TV in this country.
The Bruins used to be the top draw in Boston when I was little then the Celtics took over with the Bird era. The Pats and Sox have been the draw over the past several years with a late surge by the Celts again and the new three back in 08.

People in this area are talking hockey of late and the Bruins are making a comeback in the general public's interest. The B's still have a long way to go in order to get back to owning top billing in this town but they are gaining popularity with the casual fan right now. I think it's laughable that SOME Bruins fans have a problem with that. The more interest in the Bruins the better as far as I'm concerned.

Hockey is a great sport and I've enjoyed it since I can remember but I was taught about the game. I think that it's great that others are getting into watching this sport and want to learn more about our Bruins!!! Teach them!!!

Why does it bother me? Its kind of like when the Red sox won the WS and everyone came out of the woodwork and now became fans. Now its impossible to get tickets, unless you pay an arm and a leg.

Its just Like Rays fans in Tampa. The place is a Ghost town when/if they make the playoffs

still not getting it. are you trying to get tampa tickets or do you just feel like complaining. i don't think you're in florida, so what their fans do really has no effect on you at all. sorry to hear about the sox series though, it would be frustrating to not get tix after supporting them all along

seriously rowdy that is a fantastic post and i couldn't agree with u more with your assessment. more fans more courage. i dont know about everyone else but as soon as the game is over i search high low for comment on the game. it usually works like this. 1st post game on nesn or comcast. 2nd nhl on the fly to catch post game interviews of players and coaches. 3rd try to catch espn's courage with matthew barnaby. haha just kidding i hate that guy good riddance to bad trash, but i do like barry melrose breaking game down. 4th computer for 3 open tabs (1)boston.com with u guys(2)tsn.ca(3)nhl.com. i cant get enough and its like that with western conference too. bandwagoners are welcome cause the more fans the more hockey coverage and its like sports porn.

GS...I gave you an invitation to come to the gym I work out at....You backed away, and yet you talk all this *hit and call me a "girl". If you have the nads, come to Golds Gym in Concord, MA and we'll talk then. Everyone is a witness here, and if you back out, you're a *ussy. You put up a tough act, but its all words....Typical Hab fan, like to talk *hit, but run away when it matters (or dive)
