Does dealing Kaberle make T.O. weaker, and likely to loose more games?

    You would think so.

If so, why hasn't this deal been done, unless T.O. wants someone who can play now, vs a prospect or draft pick. It's is a double benefit in getting a deal done sooner than later.

The reason I think about this is when looking at the draft over the years, it really drops off after the first 2 or 3 picks in many cases. Yes there are years it goes deep, but if they get to 4, or 5 or 6th pick, it is a real crap shoot.

Deals normally take some time to do....just everyone covering their bases. Since the deadline is still a ways away, my guess is Burke is in no rush in case he gets a last minute monster offer he can sell Kaberle on...
