    Ducks Sign Fowler 4yrs/20 mil

I love watching this kid skate. I remember him falling on draft day, still wish the B's made a move.

Does Hamilton have the same upside as Fowler?

Re: Ducks Sign Fowler 4yrs/20 mil

I'm more worried that he has the same down side.  When Fowler's on the ice, you know a goal will be scored.  You just don't know at which end of the ice.  I want Hamilton to make good offensive plays, but more importantly, I want him to make good decisions.  I can live with risk/reward for him to be an offensive presence as long as he plays defense when it's time to play defense and knows exactly when that is.

Fowler may have dropped in the draft, but it hasn't cost him much.  The $750K less than Seguin - after taxes - is a lot of money in reality, but it doesn't look like much after a decimal.
