Eriksson excited to start time with the Bruins

This guy waived his NTC to come here and is excited about it, as he should be.

Take a look at his highlight videos and B's fans should be very excited about his arrival.

He is the best player in the trade, and the B's have him at a good price for the next 3 years.  In the highlights, scores a bunch of goals from the RW.

    Welcome to Boston Loui!

The past few years I only caught a few Dallas games and he was the one player that always stood out for them. He is a real good addition.

I think he's going to be one of my favorite players. There cannot be a single favorite as my avatar clearly shows.

In looking over their roster pre-trade is it safe to say the Bruins acquired Dallas' best player?  I say yes.

Really excited to see him in the playoffs with all of his 4g and 5 assists  in 22 games.

Both of his playoff runs happend before he broke out offensively.  We shall see, but those numbers are not likely to reflect his current play.

They look like Hall of Fame numbers compared to what Seguin has been putting up come playoff time. With this squad, those numbers will be better

Not nec.  Someone has to play and score on a bad team.  He comes to a team that doesnt open it up.  If his numbers are the same im happy.  I am more then willing to bet they drop a bit.   30/30 is fine with me.

Agreed, he is a beast. If they put him back on wing with Seguin at center, both of them will have career highs come seasons end.

I heard that is the plan on sat radio.   Those two with cole or whitney.  Dallas will be fun to watch.  I hope seguin rips it up.

That likely is the plan, but then Rick Nash should get 60 gls playing with Brad Richards, right?

Different systems.  Which is why i predict loui pt totals may come down.  NYR were defense first.  LA kings defense first.   Boston Bruins def first.

What about Ruff's system in Dallas then, he's defence first as well i thought.

    Dallas who?

    Next....

Beyond excited for Eriksson. I think the Marchand-Bergeron-Eriksson line could be the best in the NHL next year if all are healthy and gain some chemistry out of camp. Which line does the other team put their best defenders on? KIL or BEM? Pick your poison.

I think Eriksson is an outstanding addition to this team. Playing w/ either Krejci or Bergeron he'll put in 35 goals.

Feel free to come up with a decent wager as to who scores more points this year. Dallas hopes Benn can become as good as Eriksson. He isnt yet. That's why Loui consistently outscored him over and over again. Benn will, finish at least 10 points behind him again this year.

Re: Eriksson excited to start time with the Bruins

Um, Benn lead Dallas in scoring with 7 fewer games at the ripe age of 23.  Loui registered 6 hits all year.  He tops him in every stat last year.

I'm sure PC first asked about Benn and was rejected faster than NAS at a strip bar.

I appreciate your love for the new guy.  Lets not go all crazy here.  Benn is a franchise kid.  Loui is a excellent pickup who puts up pts for a team that isnt very good.  Ryder had 35 with them.  Does that mean Ryders better as well.

Loui plays a very responsible game that does not include one bit of physical play.  Maybe thats why he plays so many games.

I will take the friendly wager that Benn outscores Loui.  You give me the rules or is it just straight pts?
