He is taking a shot @ me. Thats fine, I'm not right all the time-- see the Rask post above. But Rask has played well the last 2 games and TT is crashing down to reality after his great first half. As long as they win-- I don't care who is in net. -

Thomas isn't "crashing down", he had like 2 bad games in a row against Detroit... according th people close to the team, he's just tired as frig. Which is why they're giving him a HUGE break right now: after his last game there were a few days off... then Rask started back-to-backers... then three days off before Calgary... if Rask starts that one, then he'd have anotehr 3 days off in a row after that before the next game... making it almost 2 weeks between starts. He's essentially been put on vacation during this stretch with few games and poor opponents (Islanders, Senators). By design. He'll be back to his early-season form after about 1 game, I bet. -

I would look at dealing rask and krejci if it can net a real scorer. I was also ok with trading tt. Listen, you can only play one goalie, get someone/something who can help you in playoffs. Two good goalies is like having a good backup QB, ya if Brady goes down it will be a great luxury, but if he doesnt you have a guy on the pine who can play. Plus, if brady or tt go down, either team is screwed. -
