Who's doing the play by play on NBC ?  Seems like he's calling Marchand , Todd Marchant

I miss Jack Edwards and Andy

hahaha...Todd Marchant. About 6 years too late.

Yep that one hurts, come on Seguin every shot he takes hits the goalie in the crest,he just needs a garbage goal to get him going anything

From that angle, he may have been hoping for a rebound while making sure to hit the net.  A rip wide may have wrapped around and sent the Rangers back the other way.

Best complete 40 mins the B's have played in awhile. Kids have looked great. Marchand is back, great to see.

Not at all....I'm impressed by Krug, playing like a big man. And Bartkowski is showing some speed. Way to go, young men !

so who is it on NBC ?

It's Dave Strader with Pierre doing color from between the benches.  I'm not sure Strader is all that familiar with the B's.  Lots of "the Boston player" calls.  He's fine, however.  Much better than Old Lady Emeric.

Pierre is hoping to blow Orr on Sunday.  He's the worst.

That was Pierre  Mags with the Todd instead of Brad but he corrected himself right away thought it was kind of funny

Yep, better to hit the goalie from that angle and hope for a rebound than miss the net entirely...

    In response to Fletcher1's comment:

Seguin looks like crap.  There's no polite way of saying it.  Losing the puck easily on rushes, and when Lucic set him up for an open look on Henrik, he worked the sternum pretty squarely.

    Snap out of it Tyler!

Agree 100 per cent. Tyler is in a mega-slump...lost his confidence. He needs a shootout to get going, but there aint no in the playoffs!

    Re: Game 1: NYR v. Bruins (16/05/13)

Bartkowski was the guy who allowed any scoring chance to even happen. Nash got a step on him which shouldn't have happened. Once that happens he can no longer push him to the corner so Nash is able to drive behind the net and almost score on the wrap around. Now everybody has to scramble. If Tyler made any mistake it was trying to wind up to slap it out rather than quickly flip it out. Boychuk was not great on the play either - no muscle on the puck and then he doesn't block the shot.  Crap now they score again.

Great Marchand now you are playing like Seguin. Get the puck in deep for Pete's sake!
