Jagr did look tired, almost like a 41 year old. He's looked a bit off since he missed a few games with the flu (it that's what is was). Let's see how he looks next game. We had some great looks on that OT power play, and the point play of Krug is fun to watch. I know it's the first game, but CJ's gonna gain confidence in those young guys yet.

Mix it with Goldschlager. It's actually not bad.

    hA ha ha

Jagr was not bad, I like him wih that line.  How many times did he keep the puck in.

I dont get it with some fans always complaining about Jagr.  Of course he's not the same guy of the 80s but he's still effective. Look at the PP , he makes things happen, he attracts defenders towards to open up other guys.  I'm happy with that.

Totally Bs. I really liked that line tonight. All three seemed to find chemestry. And as long as Seguin is slumping, I would keep Jagermeister on that 2nd unit.

The Bruins played a complete game tonight.  No complaints and the kids were all very good.  I love Krug.  He can skate and move the puck but he takes a hit from Nash and still finds the puck and still gets the puck out.

He also took out King Kong Boyle and knocked him into the net behind Rask.

Jagr creates and demands attention.  He tires dmen out and opens the ice up.  Hes a beauty.  Hes trying hard and having a blast.  Love watching him.

    Yep!

Chiarelli, Julien and Neely had to be impressed by the trio of younguns on defense tonight.  They had speed, they were mobile, they looked like they know what they were doing.

Ference will need to ask for 1yr/$500,000 if he wants to return next season.

Even then it will be surprising.

Not this game but he is a very very good goalie.

all he did was make about 50 saves....

I don't really pay attention to shots. Hitting lots of posts means a lot got behind him and he let 2 in from the point. Not saying he played awful but I've seen him play much much better.

so thank God this wasn't one of his better efforts then....  i disagree though....

That's quite the drop from his $2.2 million this year.  Guess we can colour him gone unless he accepts what you suggest.

Heck, if the kids continue to play well, they may not even offer him that much. That would be a nice problem to have.

Boychuk the ultimate warrior out there tonight. I predicted he would make up for blunder on the Ranger 1st goal -- came close a few times but this guy seemed to be fighting thru major pain by the end of the game.

Playoff hockey -- doesn't get any better -- LA vs SJ entertaining as well.

Bummer. We'll have to wait for the B's to go up 2-0 or 3-0. Then we should get some juicy ones.
