Very unfortunate. Bad for Team Canada too.

February is when the games start. If it was a clean break and not the Achilles,  StamPkos might have a chance.

I can see the comments in tsn now.

'the dirtiest team in hockey, the boston bruins, have attempted to kill stampkos and have only succeeded in crippling him forever.  when will it stop?  will every other player in the nhl haveto be murdered or maimed before they finally jail everyone on the Bruins roster?'

I'll bet you only get 3 or 4 posts into the TSN Stamkos thread before you see the name Pacioretty

Like to see chara do that to pk subban

I wish other guys would get goals instead of just Bergeron all the time.

tough to say how bad the injury really is. The announcers said it was Theismann like, but i don't see it that way. Guess we'll find out soon enough ..........

Second place in the East, one point back of the team they've beaten three times and given only one goal.

    Nice.

Highly entertaining game, aside from the Stamkos injury.  That stinks for the whole League.  (*Reports are broken tibia, requires surgery*)

Eriksson either has no confidence in his shot right now, or he's too caught up in trying to be good to his new teammates.  With Marchand and Bergeron both looking like they are back to playing normal at the same time, I hope that ends.

    Aaron Ward ‏@aaronward_nhl

"Source, Steven Stamkos has broken tibia. Told will require surgery. #TSN"

Read with some skepticism, Ward did tweet "Iginla to Boston done deal" last trade deadline.

Add Spooner  to the 2nd line ...and move Ericksson down to the 3rd and Soderbergh down to the 4th line and Thornton out ...and this team is unbeatable

Brutal. Like everyone else I hope Stamkos is OK but a quick trawl through the internet shows just how many are hating and blaming the Bs and Hamilton for the injury.

As Jack would say, " 2 U's 2 K's 2 Points "  Pretty solid effort by the boys. I hope Stamkos has a speedy recovery !!

I'm as perplexed as anyone, no shots today, 2 against TO . Its like he has Tomas Kaberle disease, pass at all costs. I mean the guy has scored 30 gls in this league....shoot the puck!!
