The B's should be burying this team

Despite playing in the AHL this year, Lehner is a very good goaltender.

He is, he shutout the B's last season

Why would they be more tired than the Sens? If anything, the Bruins should be the freshest team in the league.

Bruins have been on the PK twice as much.

How does that show the risk of him playing the point on the powerplay?  Many players get called for penalties on the powerplay.  Every time it happens, does it show the risk of having them on the powerplay?

The risk of defensive gaffs is always greater when a forward plays the point on the pp.....this time he was the guilty party so he is to blame. Pretty simple.

It does if said player puts himself into a bad position by making a poor pass. He then took a needless penalty because his D partner was in position to back him up. He's just not making good decisions.

Bourque has had every chance to prove he earned his callup, he has not. Compounding this is how ineffective he has been while on the PP. The two penalties tonight just pound the point home. Bourque has played 16 games, same as Hamill last year and done the same...Nothing!

Now I see Bourque getting preferential treatment as his butte should be nailed to the bench just like Seguin when he made mistakes. Marchand the same, got minutes taken away when he was commuting up the 128.

    Time to make a change.

and if they were healthier they might not be playing the same way and Bruins also would be getting more chances. Come on BNJ don't start your chicken little comments.

I fully agree that it was a poor decision following a poor play*, however he hasn't been a powerplay issue in the past.  I've always hated the forward at the point.

*My thought process:  Oh jeez...Oh no.  I'm going to hear it about this one.

Bourque was great on the PP..........in Providence.

What do you think about Chris's positioning in the offensive zone ?

Of course I knew that would be the answer but I am shocked compared to how confident he was in the AHL.
