Just watched the replay of the Callahan (<---- correct spelling, there is no "G") goal.  Really really soft play by Hamilton.  I'm guessing that he was trying to avoid a penalty or a penalty shot, but at that point, take the chance.  Can't give a halfass effort there.

I agree but Tuukka being a butterfly goalie was the reason he scored lol

Next observation.  I thought in the Stanley Cup run Seguin showed us his upside and volatility.  This run he is dhowing maturity.  He will breakthrough this playoff round and someday I think he will be a great player.

Well, he led the team in scoring last season as a 19-20 year old so he is already a good player. Won't take much to make him great.

The gap between good and Great is gigantic.

Refs at it again. The ref is standing right there and doesn't call it but the ref from center ice, does with a blind view with the net in his line of sight?

    Just awful.

I agree. That would've been a good penalty to take. Rask got caught dropping too soon & lost any chance of getting a push off to come across. Had he stayed on his feet just a bit longer like he did against Lupul he would've had a better chance.

    Callahan makes Hamilton look silly.....

Hamilton got caught flat footed with the giveaway.

My problem was not Jagr, Hamilton or the initial Marchand blunder. Still can't figure out why Marchand didn't bolt to the middle after Callahan gained the blue line. Hamilton was aready giving minor pressure to the outside. Marchand had an excellent chance to break up that rush by just a simple backcheck to the inside.

Not disagreeing with Rangers breakdowns on D, etc, but I am just saying, vs a Lundqvist, he can bail them out and then it just gives them more confidence of a feeling of destiny that it's their game.

    Happens all the time, obviously.

B's are totally outplaying them and it's 1-1.

I get what you're saying.  The Bruins live in the Ranger end and Lundqvist holds them at bay.  The same can be said of Rask who looks solid.  I say the Bruins will jam up Lundqvist's crease and bang them in close up.  We'll see.

I think Krug could challenge Seidenberg for best soccer skills in a hockey setting.
