I love the afternoon games. I hate the people who cry all morning because the "B's always tank in the matinee". They may have a losing record overall, but what happened in 2005 has no bearing on today's team. It an old wives tale. If they were 0-700 in the matinee, I'd agree. They aren't.As for the actual games, I think it's great to have an afternoon game, especially on a Saturday. I'm headed out to a restaurant with a couple of friends to watch the game and then get to go out with a chick tonight and not miss anything. (Unless, of course, we go to the movies, in which case I'll probably end up missing 10-15 minutes somwhere in the middle.)
Is really NAS? I remember back in the 80's & 90's where the B's just didn't have the jump & seem to lose a lot of them as well. I really like the afternoon games too, but when the B's lose it just makes be a..(.my youngest daughters quote) Grumpy Bruin. One afternoon game that stands out for me. The first game of the short 95 season. The first game for Blaine Lacher & Neely got a hat trick for a 4-1 against the Flyers! -

Kel? Has that lead been a nitemare for you when you played in a 3-0 game. Did your team sag & get into the "oh we got this!" mode? I remember one game in Midget we had a 3-0 lead 3 minutes in & got out shot 18-5 in the period. We walked away with a 7-3 win, but there's been others where I was just as bad as Bryz was & we lost. It just seems to be a really strange lead for the sport. -

Yes, thats why i hate them. i always say whoever gets the fourth goal wins..2-0 leads, I like, but 3-0 in the first period and it almost seems like, not a cocky attitude, but a laid back one. I've had a couple that started out 3-0 and ended up 3-0 but both times I was pulled in high school were 3-0 leads that resulted in 6-5 losses. I can't tell you how mad I was in the second one. -
