Why?   Hendricks isnt a skating clown.

His minutes are similar and he has spent the whole game looking for a fight....seems pretty clownish to me.

How.  And hes played with ovie a lot this year.  Hes been playing hard nosed hockey.  If he were in the bruins uniform today he would be a hero.  Its hockey.

Horton was running around all game and hendricks wanted a piece of him.  Horton shouldnt be playing that role after the whistles with that same guy and not expect it.  I have no issues with horton going there.  mcQ also had concussion issues as did ST.

    [/QUOTE]

Horton was not running around all game, he's playing hockey and one of his best games of the season.  McQ 's issues were not and never been as bad as Horton's .

what ??? come on SHUPE !  It's hockey and Horton hit him cleanly, everytime you bodycheck someone you have to fight ? Hendricks started all this being a shii disturber from the frist the scurmish.

Anway,   in the 3rd someone will approach Hendricks and I'm sure he'll drop them. That's the guy he is .  Just jumping a wounded animal was a little cheap.

Horton has had a snarl all game.  Why are posts suggesting that Horton didn't want to go or that he was ambushed?

He has played a whopping 13 seconds more than ST today, has exactly 2 more points than ST this season, and has spent what little ice-time he has had today skating around looking to fight Horton.

    Clownish...

If you do things in the course of a game to a player that will fight and you dont wanna fight then dont do stuff after the whistles.  I dont have an issue with either fight.

Did horton run into hendricks between whistles?   Answer is yes and McQ came to his aid.  Hendricks obviously didnt like the hit for some reason.  The clean one.  again.  A hockey fight by a guy whos playing a great game.  No issue with either guy there.

    I don't think you've watched a lot of Hendricks.

    Is Greg Campbell a clown?

No I do not watch many Caps games if I can help it. This afternoon, however, Hendricks is acting like a clown.

I have and hes a hard working hockey player who often fights guys he shouldnt.  I like hendricks who always puts in a hard effort.  Horton head and shoulders better player.  But no issue with him dropping the gloves.  And i wont be shocked if he fights a ST.

F the code.  If you're going to fight, then fight!

Marchand's first punch was at the jaw and Ribiero hadn't dropped his other glove yet.  Who cares!  FIGHT!

Marchand and Ribiero were locked up for awhile and you could see Ribiero asking him if he wanted to go? Much different circumstances.

    Hendricks IS a "skating clown."

5 fighting majors, 51 PIMs and 6 pts in 27 games?  For a center?

Last year Thornton had MORE points than Hendricks with less TOI.

    Hendricks

    241 games, 338 PIM

Here's a skating clown for you:

    Krys Barch

    325 games, 713 PIM
