Seeing how Montreal played last night I'd love for the Bruins to come out hard and fast much like the Sharks did in Boston some weeks ago -  but with the Bruins actually getting a leg up on the Flying Diving Venuses.
I've watched them play a lot this season & they don't seem to be doing this as much as they have in the past. And Gallegher is doing what we all hoped Marchand would be doing. It'll be interesting to see if these 2 don't go after one another a bit.
That's the interesting comparison tonight.  They used to compare them last year, and Gallagher would go all humble and say 'I'm not there yet, but I'm flattered to be compared to him with what he's done".

Nobody's buying that this year, since Gallagher is unquestionably playing better than Marchand.  Maybe time for Marchand to reclaim his seniority there?

To quote John Goodman speaking to the Adams State football team, "if I were you I'd do something about it".

nite, like you, I've seen a several of their games and you're right they're not doing their one and a half gainer into a full jack-knife position as was their trademark.  The additions of Prust, Parros and Gallegher appears to have given them a more aggressive makeup.  I just like sticking to them.

I'd love to see that, Fletch.  I also wouldn't overlook Andrew Shaw in the aggita department.  I think he's said his game is patterned from Marchand's.

Did the Bruins call up Edwin Montreal from Providence?  'Cause that's the only way I believe this would be the correct answer.

Not happy for McQuaid... but glad Kevan Miller got the call. I think he was very steady in his last call up.

I see this as a one goal game. Let's hope Boston gets on the board first!

    Re: Game 28: Habs v. Bruins (12/05/13)

I'm looking for Reilly Smith & Rask to have huge games tonite. Smith seems to elevate his game when new challenges are there. His 1st game in Montreal & 1st between these 2 hated teams. Look for an early bout between the 2 clowns. Prust will probably fight Campbell as he's learned the hard way that he's no match for Milan. Murray isn't going after Lucic, no way he'll want to be embarrassed twice. Wish Quaider was playing! Rask needs to start beating the Habs more than he has been, 2-8-2 won't cut it.
