Much better PK than than the end of the regular season and game 2.

no screen on that, Reimer just whiffed

I wonder if Reimer has 20/20 he has problems tracking the puck.

Or maybe it's all the Rabbi scarves in the stands tonight ?

This is the best possible goalie for Boston to face cause he always give the rebound up... they'll have to completely change strategies if they play Holtby or Price (although Price hasn't been great.)

Good first period. I'd only fault the first line's weak D but that wasn't even that bad.

No, 17-12 for Bruins after 1.

I said this would happen.  Poison place.  Great if winning. Death blow if losing.

Absolutely.  I've been there and clearly heard leather-lunged foghorns from rows back - usually with the homeside on the short end of the score.

What about out hitting.  Or changing faster, or drinking more water.

Definitely more like we're used to seeing. Let's hope it's the start of another long string of successful PKs.

I don't understand why people pay so much attention to hits. If you win a puck race, you're going to get hit. Wasn't Chris Bourque leading the team with hits before he left?

Hits wear you down... let me hit you a few times and see if you want to keep coming back for more.

The B's drank 12 oz of Gatorade more than the Leafs.  It doesn't look good.  Our boys are dehydrating at a faster rate than their boys.

This is not good.  Hopefully this changes.  I think our guys chewed more gum in warmup though.

Don Cherry just said so far there's been 242 (?) hits in the Kings/Blues series.  When you watch their games you can see how that total exists.

Bruins getting outhit... but I'd say that period was mission accomplished: weather any initial storm, establish dump and chase, get on board first and take crowd out of it. It was quiet wiht only 3 minutes left.

    They're up 1-0.  Let's complain about RTS.

So you'd prefer giving a hit rather than getting the puck out of the zone?

Seidenberg taking a hit to help clear the zone is a plus play. Letting the Toronto player get the puck first and taking both him and the guy being hit is a lesser play to me. Just think looking at the hit stat alone doesn't provide a complete picture.

Because they B's are down in the stat.  Some people can't help but search for things to cry about.
