Awesome stuff after the game. Iginla got 1st star, both teams came back to the benches and he had to come out and do a few laps. Pretty neat.

That's guy is just a jerk.  The B's put half of an NHL team on the ice, grab two points in regulation and he still has to be negative.

Geez, Reilly Smith continues to look like the real deal. What a goal.

    Chara/Campbell looked... green.  Ucch.

Glad we all hung around for the third period. B's finally found some emotion. Someone must have made a good "let's win this for Iginla" speech during the intermission. Grab the two points and some NyQuil and get outta dodge.

Missed another one, but I gotta say, how can you criticize this team right now?  Beat the Peguins, beat the Lerfs, beat the Lames.  First in the conference.  And here's the list of last night's players who had less than 40 games of NHL experience going into the year:

Reilly Smith, Ryan Spooner, Nick Johnson, Matt Fraser, Torey Krug, Matt Bartkowski, Kevan Miller, Carl Soderberg.  Hamilton would have been on this list a week ago.  Caron belongs except he had a year where they thought he was showing something and gave him a long look.  Last night, half the roster came from this list.  Add the backup goalie.  That is an insane "youth" movement (Miller, Johnson and Soderberg aren't exactly "yutes") for a team that went to the finals last year.

Just keep knocking on wood that this run continues.

What's dumb about it?  It's praising the victory despite having many injured players.

    Please explain.

Book has it right, and one other thing no one seems to pay attention too is the other team and there effort. They played the Bs hard and out hit them badly until the 3rd. I didnt think the Bs played a bad game and had a feeling they would come thru.

Gotta love this smith kid more and more he impresses me. Fraser was close to a goal, spooner seemed like he picked up his game.

Going aganist edmonton next is gonna be tough on faster ice.

Marchand Im beginning to really wonder about him.

What you see from Smith you will also see it from Fraser, Matt is not the same tyoe of player but he will be a great addition and will score many many many goals for the B's

BRUINS are now 2-0 with Fraser and Spooner in the line up

:Facepalm This is his one comment on the game. It encapsulates all the nervousness of watching a game full of rookies playing for the Bruins.

    Re: Game 31: Flames v. Bruins (12/10/13)

I'm putting a lot more people on ignore.

Depleted line up, right after a couple of tough games, time zone change, long flight.

And they pull out a win.

The team has proven depth, proven intelligent management moves and people still want to complain about something.

Particularly the poster who all of a sudden mentions playoffs.  After ranting about regular season goals for an enternity and being told it's all about a team built for the playoffs, now all of a sudden he's saying it's the playoffs that matter.

And the other clown who says Louie is a concussion magnet.  I don't want to contribute to that thread.  The guy skated off under his own steam, not carried off like Horton or Bergeron.  Concussions happen, the guy has been injury free since forever.  Millions of years too early to write Louie off.

Keep complaining.  I'll keep ignoring.  I actually want null to come back so there's at least someone worse to detract from how bad some of these posters are.

Wt u saying bad hab - Been saying that bruins make playoffs all year And it's how they wi ll do in the playoffs that counts.  Don't misinterpret. In fact couldn't care less for the president trophy.  I would if it were significant to Winning a cup.  If this team can have an average offence in reg season and explode in playoffs fine but the offence will have to improve going into the playoffs.

Btw- stop lying to yourself you know full well you can't keep me on iignore. CHEERS!

    [/QUOTE]

Fact.  You score more than the other guys, you win.  That can be as little as 1 goal.
