"The Oilers will be dealing defenseman Ryan Whitney, Magnus Paajarvi, and a third asset (Anton Lander perhaps) to the Boston Bruins for Milan Lucic. Then Paajarvi will be shifted to the Flames as part of the Iginla deal."

Thank you, Richard Clouthier, Edmonton Oilers blogger at hockeybull.

This is only way Habs get back in this game is PP guys.

Classic refs. When Montreal in trouble, start making up calls.

    Do you really believe this.

Do I believe that Montreal's organization has had a heavy influence with that they want? Yes.

    I do.

We didn't get an entry draft until, what, 1961? Why? Because Montreal loved having first dibs on Quebec born players.

And then the flopping going unattended and the easy way Montreal draws penalties, etc, especially this year. Yes. I think the refs feel pressure to cater to Montreal. It's been like that my whole life.

This isnt WWE.  It really isnt.

Nor is the NFl with phantom PI calls for a home team where the ref feels pressure to make a call or the NFL instructs refs to call or not call things like don't call off. PI on Hail Marys. That's because they'd love to see a Hail mary pass be completed. It's good for business, so to speak. This is a national game. You get the drift.

It exists, dude.  I am not saying it's definitive with Montreal, but they also are tops in the league every year in PPs.

You are outside your mind if you believe this.

Why? The league has meetings every year to tell refs what to do.

I know for a fact the NFL instructed the replacements refs on what to call when they were in there because one came forward and referenced being instructed how to call PI on Hail Marys, which means they're instructed on what to do in other ways, too.

You'd be naive to think that all leagues aren't instructing their refs in some way.

And, I happen to believe Montreal, of all franchises has always had major influence on the NHL.

That's nothing new. In fact, it's well known.

There is no fact at all. And less known.

That flub by Ference has given Montreal some hope.

Bruins need to keep pressing and (dare I say) play not to lose.

P.S. Would not like to see Lucic go anywhere...Iginla or no.
