    Another good save by Khudobin...

It should've been easy though. He overplays things.

The National Temperance Union has just announced that it is sponsoring a new game.  Participants drink every time the Bruins score a goal.

A brilliant strategy to foster sobriety.

    In response to Davinator's comment:

I really like Khudobin as a young prospect, but one thing he really needs to improve upon is his ability to trap and/or freeze the puck quickly.

I have seen too many plays continuing after a shot on goal that probably would have been smothered by Tuukka Rask(and Tim Thomas).

Those kind of 'extra' chances have cost us too many times this year and are unnecessary IMHO.

But I have to say, I have no worries about him making the first stop.

Not really "young" RHO.  He turns 27 in a little over a month.

I am comfortable with him as the backup.  I'd never want to see him 50 games a year.  Not right now, anyway.  With the Thomas career track, who knows if he'll get NHL starter good when he's 35!

Score is tied, but I wouldn't say we've carried the play for more than a few minutes... more like playing not to lose

I'd say forget defence altogether for a game. Let them go out and play to score with defence pressing on an all out push. Who cares if they give up a few, as long as they learn to play offence.  Time to get creative and get away from this boredom -- it isn't working

They need to stay out of the box. They've played almost 20% of this game shorthanded so far.

Hoping I am noticing little glimmers in Marchand that might be a spark.  Maybe the little ball of hate can get them going.

That was Dav's comment, NAS.  But no, I wouldn't call him a young goaltender like Price, Rask and say Reimer.
