They won 6-2 and you're complaining!

Yep, lucky for the Bruins they were allowed to dress a goalie tonight.

The Bruins can clinch a playoff spot with 2 wins in their final 10 games. Lots of time to figure out line combos and what not before the post season starts.

Jagr can be so creative out there.  I hope CJ just lets him play his game.  Lot of puck luck tonight but they drove the net and it paid off.  Now, how to solve the Habs and Penguins.

Here's one eyebrow raising stat - and I'm not kidding.

Seguin is a -1 tonight.  Or at least that's what the globe says.

    Misprint?

A good formula to follow from here on in, hang.  You're right.  The results spoke for themselves.

the same answer I gave Dez, Bruins line up by the 19th will be very different than what they've seen and the same if the Bruins meet the Habs agan in the playoffs.

May I suggest it is Marchand and his new-found energy that agrees with Jagr....Campbell is just incidental...

Is it JM? Is it really? Perhaps it's actually a crucial element. Perhaps it's.........aw, forget it. That's all I got.

Julien's lines looked good in this game.  Put Soderberg with Kelly and Seguin, and that could work.

It's a good thing Rask is in there.  Without him, the score would be 31-5.

I was going to say somewhere around 24-5 but you may be correct on this one.

Who was in the middle?  Sean Avery?

Always makes me laugh when Jack says that.

I am waiting for him to one day reference the dutch rudder.

Please -- Don't mention Jack tonight. I'm always complaining about announcers that get to do a more nationally telecasted feed as in NHL network tonight. Maybe it's just me but can these guys even try to be a little more unbias. How many times do we have to hear that the Canes are an "inferior team"? He must have said it 5 or 6 times. True or not -- how about a little humility and go with "struggling". This team put 49 SOG vs the Rangers saturday, 45 vs Bolts last Thursday and 42 tonight. They've been running into some pretty hot goaltending lately. We of all fans know what its like to go thru periods of anemic offence and get smoked by a hot goalie or two.

They could clinch by losing out provided the Devils don't win more than 7 of their last 9.  7 of 9 would put them in a tie - and the Bruins would win the tiebreaker.  So any combo of two wins or Devils losses gets them there.

Beyond that, 4th doesn't look too bad with a matchup against the Laffs right now.  I'd take that and pit Rask vs. Reimer.

No need to sugar coat it.  The Canes players weren't listening, nor were the majority of Canes fans.  It was the B's announcer talking to B's fans.

Lay it on thick while the whooping is fun.

Good point.  I noticed the same thing.  The Canes are in a funk, but if it wasn't for Rask in the early going AND Peters just stinking for them, this could have been a different game.  The Canes DID come out to play.

The Bs need to file this W away and focus on the Devils, a team desperate for a playoff spot - and a team they beat last week with 1 deflected, unexpected goal.

So, what you're saying is that if the B's goalie didn't make saves while the Carolina goalie did, the score wouldn't have been the same?

Not complaining about the final score, but anybody could see Rask was the difference. We can't continue to give up this amount of quality chances. As of late our goalie has to stand on his head for us to win. We're fortunate to have two good ones, but we gotta tighten up in our own zone. Probably a good time to put Redden or Krug in and give somebody a rest before the playoffs.
