Bark gets punched in the back of the head, retaliates with a slash, ref only sees the slash.

Bad call but you can't slash him there.

You didn't miss anything. That had to be the worst period of playoff hockey that I have seen in a long time. The announcers lacked any kind of emotion. I almost switched to the Red Sox game.

Underwhelming effort by both teams that period.

Worse news for the Rangers considering they really, really need to win.....

Obvious what the 2 new additions in the Rangers lineup are there for.    I bet as soon as the Bruins score one of them fights a Bruin.

I just got out of story time, and was going to ask for a synopsis of the first.  Sounds like I didn't miss much.

Both averaged around 6 mins a game this season. This means Torts just shortened his bench even more for this game. The longer it goes the more tired they will become....

Good period for the Bs. A little tenative on the PP but forechecking like crazy, backchecking like crazy and turning it back up the ice well.

Need to keep hammerin' it in on Lundqvist. Rangers are lacking jump tonight.

Not over confident by any means. The longer that the Rangers keep the score at zeros, the better chance they have to poke in a cheapie.

I want them to finish this off tonight in the worst way.

I know I reside in the wrong market and should expect it -- but on NY radio this morning Lundqvist mentioned 3 times about the Bruins getting lucky bounces. This flippin Swedish Meatball needs to get smoked tonight big time. Pour it on guys.....

Obviously, I saw the period differently than some of you.

JMW - did you have turkey for dinner tonight?

Might be the triptophan kickin' in, eh?

IN THEORY, the Rangers should have come out with their best effort that period.  Getting out of it with a 0-0 score is very good news.

I remember Newbury from his Leaf days from 2006 - 08.  Goon type.  His most "productive" season in Toronto was 06/07 with 2 goals, 2 assists, 4pts with 26 PIMs in 15 games - in place of Brad Richards.

The burly Bruins have a knack of bringing out this kind of response in teams, don't they?
