Tuukka shuts them out in game 5. 3-0 win.

Well...it happens when the Bs play most of the game on the perimeter and trying for soft, pretty plays. Where was the thumping? Rangers had nothing until the end of the 2nd and Boston just let them keep hanging around.

Oh well...on to Boston, and let's hope the team we know shows up and plays 60.

Rask looked a bit tired tonight - think the home crowd will get him back on track.

    No worries

The Bruins should fire their goalie coach.  Rask was down way too early on the first goal.

    Disagree.

    Rask gave that one up.

PC just cut 250k per year off his offer for Tuukka.

Bi-polar hockey is back.  At least Seguin broke through finally.

I dunno about that more like Hamilton dropped the ball tonight. What's he a minus 2 tonight? How many give aways did he have tonight? I lost count tbh. That wrap around goal was horrible also i think that was chara on that goal. That D pair had to be minus 3 or 4 tonight.

Don't understand why you would say that. B's scored enough to win tonight. They just let in some horrible goals.

Very frustrating game to watch in that regard.

Well that blew. We had so many chances to end it. Believe it or not, Thornton had the same number of shifts as Seguin tonight.

I hate that cliche.  I mean, I hate all cliches, but that's right near the top of the list (along with timely this or that and heavy shot).

B's easily could have had one in OT.  Lundqvist didn't budge and made some great stops to give his team a chance.

No one or two players to blame. Only shows how much of this game is mental. A few good ones cost dearly tonight. On the other hand it kills me to say this but Lundqvist did what he does best.

Re: Game 4: Bruins v. NYR (23/05/13), Bruins with 3-0 Series Lead

I have tough time keeping a stiff upper lips here guys...the Ranger had NO business to even think they had a chance to win this game.

Until the Rask 'miscue' halfway through the 2nd period.

Bad enough he stumbles on the weak backhand, but he actually kicked his own stick out of the way trying to get to the puck. Had he simply stayed on his azz, it looks like he could have still reached it with his stick.

Couple that with Chara/Rask's nonchalant walk in the park around the net and NYR got the life they needed. Hope it doesn't amount to much. We could have used the break.

(Boy, it is tough to type this while I am breathing into a paper bag)
