I really agree with you.  Not sure what's up with XXXXX, he seems like he's skating in quicksand and his decision making is on a delay.  Seems like he can't get a handle on the puck and gets pinned in his own end. He's even absorbing big hits .  Not good

Replace XXXXX with pretty much every skater on the team, and they did this at least once today.  I remember one shift where I think 3 different Bruins players (and Lucic twice I think) took a good 2 seconds to decide what to do with the puck once in possession, at which point it was too late.  Really, inexplicably slow decision making.

Sad result but not the end of the world. Seguin is starting to step up and Campbell(!) and Jagr continue to roll on.

Still miraculous that the Bs are doing to well in the standings considering how disappointing  the likes of Horton, Lucic and, recenty, Krejci have been this year. If these guys were even firing close to their potential the Bs would be jockeying for top spot in the league now.

Once the team gets healthy (Bergeron, Marchand etc) and the play off arrive things should be better.

Hope so.  Things can change quickly with a healthy lineup, especially considering their record even though they haven't played a full 60 mins in months. Momentum can be an amazing thing

I think Lucic needs to look at the game from a different angle , and that angle should be from the press box . Wow has been bad for what seems like an eternity .

For christ sakes, watching Lucic handle the puck in the defensive zone is like watching an offensive lineman trying to pick up a fumble.

lucif is a freaking joke! No score, no pass, no hit, no fight!!! Holy crap!!!!

Thats what happens when you get hitched to a bimbo.

Last 1 min 23 sec, face-off in Islanders def zone, empty net Boston, so 6 on 5 attackers ... and no shoot on goal !!

How to explain that ? Same excuse ?

Was the quality of the ice at TD Garden as bad as in Montreal during the ultimate 6 on 4 that the Bruins have had ??

Just trying to remain positive people that's all. This team needs a jolt of energy. I don't know how they are going to get it , but I am still confident in this teams ability.

If the Bruins are a bad team... how many good teams are there? IF they can get healthy and decide to play a full 60 every night, this team is as good as any (add in SoderYeti for even more flavor!)

    Hmmm...

-Bartowski and DogOFace on the ice in the last 2 minutes- check

    - Not a sniff at a scoring chance the last 5 minutes- check

    -Soft winning goal against- check

    -Passionless, lack of urgency- check

-Laundry list of excuses... (they are tired ya know. They have has injuries, huh. Other teams dont have those problems, right?)- check

-Ability to squeak past horrible nonplayoff teams when spotted a 4 goal lead, but awesome clubs like the Islanders are just too strong- check

    -Stars MIA- check

-mindboggling amount of unforced turnovers- check

Nothing like remaining a model of consistency. The B's are certainly very predictible in their glaring weaknessess.  It really doesnt matter who they lose to first round, does it?

Just because your wife's upset the Redwings aren't going to make the playoffs and shes in a grumpy mood don't come on here and be so down about the B's.Their a point out of first in their division and will get home ice advantage in the first round regardless. When the Bruins get healthy and i'm hoping they will before the playoffs, we''ll see what happens in the first round and go from there.Until then, tell the wife there is always next year, but Datsyuk & Zetterburg will be another year older.

I think he should look at a few games from the press box, and take Horton with him. Maybe that would wake them up. Matter of fact sit some of the guys that are busting their butts but are just burning out. Rather have them somewhat rested/healthy for the playoffs. Getting a better position come playoff time won't matter if there's no gas in the tank.

    2) The NYI won without even trying.  Who's hot now? The Caps, the NYI, the Pens, the Leafs, the Habs.  The Bs are NOT.

Wow, 2 really dumb comments in a row... did either of you watch the game? Islanders gameplan from the very beginning was to be first on the puck and pressure our D in our own end since Boston had played 3 games in 4 nights. Worked like a charm.
