This is a tough one to watch. The B's just can't seem to get anything going and spending way too much time in thir own end. Still not game over, but they need to get something going soon...

Plenty of time yet, my friend.

They just need tocalm down and  regain their composure.

If Mason has a strong finish these last couple of games, wouldnt shock me if the Flyers bought out Bryzgalov this summer and handed the reigns to Mason.

I heard the announcer say "Khudobin, whose been alone out there..." just before that gaffe.  That's how the Bruins have performed so far tonight?

To Philly's credit, they have been playing well....

Cheers, jm.  I take it Thornton's scrap was meant to fire up the Bruins?

I'd say it was the other way.  I didn't think the Flyers had much going for basically the whole second up until then.  After the fight, they came out flying.  Pun not really intended.

On a postive note - they have been solid in the neutral zone

Flyers aren't playing like a team thats out of the playoffs, and the b's aren't playing like one fighting for playoff positioning.

Agreed kel.  I can see Philly's guys wanting to impress management for next season.  Seems like the Bruins are on a mental plateau.

I think we have three players actually "playing" tonight. Soderberg (who looks very skilled), Jagr, and Redden. Chara looks like he's in a coma. What are the odds the rest of the gang will wake up in the third?

    Seemed to have backfired...no?

Who could have predicted Marchand and Chara would forget which team they play for?

Problem is, that's what we're saying of each team we're facing since a few weeks. When will the B's be the one playing well ? NO OFFENSE ! It's brutal...

I would not want to be in that dressing room right now with a raging man-mountain and a Yeti.

It appears they got stapled to the bench after the Read goal.

    I sense a thread starting.

Obviously the last goal has to be stopped but sometimes weird goals happen, however I hope Cload isn't pinning this game all on Khudobin,  not sure what what the point of pulling him was

stan, I joined the game at the point of the Thornton fight.  The NBC panel ran a sequence of Lucic mistakes and misplays tonight.  Milbury was adding his two cents on the matter.  Has he been decent as you say or was the video shown of his play tonight taken out of context of his overall form vs the Flyers?

Agree. Soderberg looks like he's making good decision with the puck. But in other hand, not very physical and not enough grit. Chara needs desperately to take a rest.

So much for that tried and true notion of fights having a particularly desired effect - at least in this case.
