Re: Game 7 Thread: Habs v. Bruins GDT (Series tied 3-3)

Congrats socca, have fun.  That is awesome.  Much better than my experience will be tonight.

Don't think I can stay 'tied up' at work through to the end...but might try.

Alberts is boring, but I am sick of Emrick too.  He gets tiring after a while with his voice constantly howling up and down with inflection and hearing about how the puck was 'skittered, shoveled, and pitchforked' into the zone.

Gary Thorne is the best, but ESPN has ruined that set-up.

My regular gameplan of pacing, cursing, drinking, leaving the room to come right back, turning a hat forwards and backwards repeatedly, snapping at my wife/kids/dog, chewing my fingernails, and rubbing my brow around my eyes repeatedly while wincing...will suit me just fine for tonight no matter who is announcing.

    Got a problem with that??

Been there, done that! Chewing on bandaids now, usually a mild mannered, unassuming fellow, but these type of games turn me into Dr. Bruce Banner's alter ego!

OMG,  the Bell Centre is sold out for tonight. Every time the Scabs score, they'll cut to the Bell Centre. Never a better time for a shutout, Tukka!

I always want the Bruins to do this. Seems like a no-brainer. Of course, for the Cup Finals only because the Bruins don't need a stinking lovefest for winning Round 2.

Re: Game 7 Thread: Habs v. Bruins GDT (Series tied 3-3)

Bruin's need to be better defensively, too many of Habs goals have been gift wrapped by Bruins, give aways, constant breakaways,Boston game is good defence first, haven't seen enough of it in this series, probably gonna be 1-0 Bruins third line will get it,been saying for games the Bruins best players are gonna breakout, but really doubt it tonight, and if Bruins are down by 3 goals again going into third, they aint comming back, that well is totaly dry,and to be quite frank if there down by 3 again than they will deserve to loose. So Bruins score early and score often, put these bums away!!

All comes down to Rask. Even if they make lapses, he's going to have to bail them. Lundqvist bailed the Rags last night in the 3rd when their D was scrambling. It's why they won.

Should be a great one. Cautiously optimistic. May just come down to 1 or 2 lucky bounces one way of another.

Going on record -- win or lose -- I'm with this team just the way it is. Wouldn't mind having the entire group back again next season

    GO BRUINS
