That was a skill goal. Peverly's goal the other night was ugly.
You read my mind. No idea why anyone would call that goal ugly. Wrist shot through traffic and a perfect tip.
According to me, if you shoot around the net a puck floating in the air just wishing someone touches it in anyway, it's an ugly goal, altought I'm glad it went in !! But it could as well touch someone in the back of the shoulder....for the Paille's goal, it's different, cause it was clear that Boychuck shot on him on purpose. -

Bourque has played center most of the time I watched him in Providence and he is a natural at it. He had a muche better game but he just doesn't it along the boards during one on one battles. -

There were a few like that tonight!The first period take down of Chara against the boards (both Jack and Brick said the 'Pegger 'surprised' him with his strength) was a terrible non-call.
The Jets guy clearly used his left foot to kick the right skate from under Chara and he tripped into the boards. Could have been a neck injury.
Where were the calls against the Jets tonight?
