Re: GDT: ECF Game 3 Penguins at Bruins 6/5/13

People will complain that Jagr should have been called for the hook.  They are right...to an extent.  Yes, it was absolutely a penalty, but there were at least three infractions that they let go against Boston.  Credit to the refs for calling an even game.

What a game.  Wow.  I'm so glad I closed my laptop and didn't read all of the negative garbage.

Triple heart rate should be down to double in a couple of hours.  Thank God for Nyquil.

CBC announcers crying saying Jagr should've gotten a hooking call on Malkin.

Did they say anything about Lucic almost getting his jersey ripped off? Also -- Milbury agreed on the Jagr no call -- Claims Bylsma should be ripping mad.

In the 2nd OT, you could tell everytime Krug was on the ice instantly. He still had his legs. No nerves, just real poise. He won't show up on the scoresheet, but he played one heck of a game.

    Approaching elite status.

He's been great.  It seems he is defining himself in this playoff run.

that was a real statement game... pure character

The battle scars are evident on Horton, Lucic, Bergeron, Chara and Marchand...but Campbell showed real heart and determination on that PK. Hope he is OK.

Who said this team is gutless and heartless? Sacrelige(sp).

Bergeron is approaching legend status here in Boston. Some pretty big goals.

So much for that high powered Penguins offense. Tuukka has been shutting them down in every way possible. They just can't find an answer to him.

Lots of guts in this game, especially killing off those Penguin PPs in OT and blocking all those shots.  I mean , Seidenberg , Chara and Ference played of 30minutes , that's insane and they're killing off penalties till the very end. Just wow !

Iginla's looking good in his Pens jersey.

I'll say it again......he's been a big motivator for the Bruins in this series. Another Cup slips away from him. He'll be talking to himself about it for a while after this season I'm sure.

Elliotte Friedman said he text an unidentified Bruin asking if the players felt any extra motivation regarding Iginla's choosing Pittsburgh over Boston.  He said the player told him the guys don't talk about it but Friedman continued that in his experience covering sports, teams often use even the slightest thing to help get them revved up.  He disbelieved the Bruin player and also suggested he'd imagine there would be a certain amount of trash talk dialogue on the ice between the Bruins and Iginla in that regard.

OMG you're talking about the refs ?  LOL  Agree 100% , the only reason why Iginla got that chance cutting to net in OT was bcause of a non-call the other way.  We coul be screaming right now about the refs.  Refs let alot go in OT except for obvious too many men and Malkins delay of game.  Those they have no excuse and called all the time.

And NAS  I was way into the game to post myself.

    Here is what I love:

This team is doing everything most of you and the rest of the media say they couldn't or weren't good enough to do.

Tonight, Tuukka showed us that the 2013 Stanley Cup is ours!

Re: GDT: ECF Game 3 Penguins at Bruins 6/5/13

Pens hit the B's with thier best game, goalie strong, out shot, out hit, won more faceoffs. B's with a few undiciplined penalties -- they still couldn't put them away. Great job Bruins. Let's take game 4 for Campbell. CJ would only say things "didn't look good" and he definately won't be on the ice tomorrow.
