Heard it before, a few weeks ago someone tweated that coaches were texting their players saying they should show up to camp in 2 days. 

Hanging on to a last shred of hope.

January 2, 2014?  Seriously I hope it ends soon, most reporting is speculative at this point.  Yet,  most of the fans and media understand the sides are very close to agreeing.  As many of the informed posters on here know, even the owners are ready.

Lets just get hockey back no matter what it takes.

IMO that would require responsible people and earnest nogiations with some immediacy.

IMO that is not what has happened so far.

IMO this is all more of the same and the same patterns will have the same results as they have produced so far.  Which is no NHL.

In my fantasy owner/player world, the drop dead date would have been October 1.  October 1 2012 that is.
