    Habs Make Me Sick

They are scoundrels, rogues, cowards, snitches, crybabies, antagonizers, two-faced, horse-shoe-assed, dirty, no-good pieces of useless crap.

    Did I leave anything out?

If you honestly feel that way, you need to take a break from hockey.

    And possibly day-to-day life.

    Baker Act anyone?

Always hated the Habs, but more because of rivalry than anything else.

Remember when they had gritty guys like Corson, Skrudland, McPhee?  Those teams were so tough to play against.

Not sure when it all changed, but this current diving/flopping group is an embarrassment.

Now I know for certain that you don't know me, NAS.

The Baker Act could apply to more than a few Hab players. Tip off the authorities in South Florida next time the team visits there.

Even with the dive call on Plecanec (Finally!) and a pretty well-called game, they still got 4 mins out-of-jail time: a clever dive by Subban and a missed too-many men penalty.

They just make the game hard to watch and enjoy by turning it, or trying to turn it, into a circus.

I'm in Toronto this summer to take some Canadian tax courses at the University of Toronto. Listening to a couple of the Toronto sport stations I would say that the Toronto media guys hate Montreal even more than the Boston media guys. Too bad their team sucks so bad so their team can't lay claim to being the Habs greatest rival (I'm sure this angers them to no end). Their hate for the Habs obviously stems from the French English thing that exists in Canada. All of the sudden my tolerance towards the Habs is increasing.

    Re: Habs Make Me Sick

Yes,  the habs make us all sick. The constant Plekanecing is out of control and an embarrassment to the league. Check this out...pretty funny:

    Plekanecing
It is when a player gets tapped by an opponent’s stick or a stick comes close to touching the player, no actual contact is required, the player voluntarily throws his head back and over embellishes this action, in an attempt to get the attention from the ref to get a penalty against the opposing team.

The term Plekanecing comes from Montrael Canadiens player Thomas Plekanec, also know as player # 14, as he did this every game in the 2014 NHL playoffs and eventually got a penalty for diving, becuase of the embarassement he was bringing to the sport. This started a Twitter hashtag: #Plekanecing. Plekanecing is gernerally looked down upon by fans, opponents and even teammates as it is embarrassing to the sport of hockey.
"Did you see last night’s Montreal Canadiens game? Player # 14 was Plekanecing all night, every time a stick hit his chest; he threw his head back like he had just been shot in the face with a 12 gauge shotgun.”

“Did you see P.K. Subban Plekanecing in last night’s game, a stick touched his visor, then he threw his head back and he launched himself into the air, like he had just been hit by a car, trying to get a penalty called.”

Hey, Klaas - Personal, Corporate or both? Is this your first venture into taxation?

If you need any help let me know.

I find it very strange that Canadians are taxed so heavily.  We are taxed a lot as well here in the good ole USA, but we have a military to pay for.

NAS, we have to pay for 'Free' health care. Half the provincial budget,  which is > the Calif budget with a 3rd of the population.  Plus our teachers a probably the highest paid in North America and basically run the province. Socialism is expensive.

Correct on the health care -- I've been a part of it for over 45 years here in the states -- as time goes on -- we will be in the same boat thanks to the genius we put in office.

We might have a say in the next provincial election. Is that what you meant, 49th?
