Habs show their true colors - Yellow

What a blatant display of cowardice tonight - suckerpunching, shooting pucks at opposing players, yapping at the opposing coach, whining, crying and diving.  Montreal Proud.  Absolute disgusting performance by this pack of yellow bellies.

Subban on top of Turris throwing punches at the downed man was a particular low... even for him.

Guess some players don't follow the same code of fighting etiquette that say, Thornton does.

There were plenty of penalties called.  What would warrant a suspension?

How is blatantly elbowing a guy in the head when the puck is nowhere close not suspension worthy NAS?

Oh, I wasn't thinking of that one, NR.  I fully agree that should be looked at.  I was talking about all of the fights.  My error!

How about deliberately taking a slap shot at a player? I think its worthy of a fine.

Yeah, I agree, maybe a fine for Subban but I can't see a suspension for a punch that missed on the ground.

2 or 5 minutes for unsportsmanlike maybe, if anything at all.

No game suspensions, but they should fine him for that.  It is an intent to injure and you really want to curtail that type of activity in the interest of player safety.  Or somehow call attention to that, you don't want to see players start shooting at each other.

If the league office wants to let this series get out of hand and entertaining for the blood lusting fans, you don't suspend or fine anyone. I think a message will be sent.

I do want to see a Therien MacLean tussle though.

And the refs missed it, I think a fine is a good way of saying don't pull that stunt again without making him sit out a game.

As someone on the radio said this morning "Therrien shouldn't feel humiliated by a time out with 17 seconds left. He should feel humiliated about the 59 minutes 43 seconds before that".

Now, if the B's can bring their A game tonight then this will be a good day.

Shooting a puck at an opponent is common.

    It's a dick move, but it's common.
