Good article for all who grew up playing hockey.

 I was always peeved when Palin used to say that hockey moms were tough.
That's not what it's about.  It's about dedication.
It's about not missing any games, sitting in a cold rink, waking early or travelling far.

I grew up playing on the south shore. My mom was at every game I played,
from Mites to High School.  Thats the only memory about youth hockey I will
take to my grave (well maybe the nasty locker room smell too).
