Hotel Buckmire (sp) in Kenmore Square is inexpensive for a city hotel also 140 Clarenden in the old YWCA building just outside Copley Square is nice and the cost reasonable. The Charlesmark Hotel in Copley on Boylston St. is quite fair as well. Can you tell I work in Copley Square?
You can also stay just outside the city and take the train in to the game. Providence is a nice city with plenty of bars and restaurants and you can stay in a great room for just under $100.
