how to bring all of this controversy to an end

beat the jets tonight, and win another 10-15 in a row. that'll shut everyone up. i really believe this team will respond in a positive way. my guess is they are chomping at the bit to get back on the ice and put this behind them. can't wait for the game.

Winning games is always the best recipe.  We are still the defending champs and we are a top of the league club.

In some ways, it might be beneficial that this comes before a 9-games-in-15-days stretch.  No time to stew, and lots of ooportunities to make (hopefully positive) news.

I wish they were playing Vancouver again tonight.  The Jets will be such a let down.

If every hockey game was like that Vancouver game I dont think I could survive an 82 game season.

Heres to hopefully an open fast paced game with alot of goals scored.

True that...enjoy the game.  Even with Buf out, the B's may have a hard time getting up for this one.

The Bruins Lost 2-1 to the Jets last they played---- That is enough to make it easy to get up for this game!

Right on. Let's drop the puck and get going again.

And to the Canuckleheads: See you in the playoffs, when the pressure is on.

Wish I could say the same. I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack each time these teams play each other.

Let's hope the Bruins have a little more energy then the Canucks did against the Panthers last night. Snoozer until the third for Canucks followers and even then couldn't put one by Clemmenson to tie it up. Watching Van-Fla and cheering on the Panthers on a January night . Yuck ! Slow night for watching hockey.

I'd say all they need to do is go 5-0 while Marchand is riding pine and the Canucks fans will head back into the holes they came out of after Saturday

It must be fun having 2 teams you're passionate about...good luck to your Jets I hope they can eventually field a great team...2nd best in the league would be fine by me!

I wouldn't complain with number two either... just get them out of the damn eastern conference first. There are 7 teams in the west further east than them, and we're stuck with them in the east, and possible 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round playoff matchups between them and the B's for at least another year. If they meet in the playoffs in either the next two years, I'll end up with an aneurysm.

But wouldn't you be happy either way? Win-win for you?

And that reminds me, TECHNICALLY the best they can do is third place then.

    Sorry :(

The only way this controversy might come to and end is when the suspension is lifted after 5 games. When or whether I decide to remove my new avatar is another matter but I won't make that decision until very late on January 17th after the Lightning game.

    I'm passionate about 3 teams:

    1. The Bruins
    2. Whoever is playing Vancouver
    3. Whoever is playing Montreal

(I'm also kinda passionate when Detroit is playing, in support of the wife!)

None really measures up to #1, though.
