I don't have a big problem with Ryder. He is a decent 3rd liner. His cap-hit is the problem. If he is re-signed in the off-season for around a 2M cap hit, it would be fine with me, although I would prefer some new blood,

exactly...ryder at 4m+ is not what I am looking for in 30 goal scoring sniping, hitting offensive winger...i could live with that at 2m as well but would also like to see some new blood...like marchant... the more I watch that kid the more i like him...  i know we won last night but does pitt seem to have all kinds of young gritty fast hitting did i say young players???

Let Julien and Ryder take the trip up 89.

He's great at making one too many moves and losing the puck

your on your own with this one...are you related or something?ryder is the softest of the softies...which is ok if you can score 35-40 goals-consistently. his effort is lacking most nights, but i must say he's playing barely ok at this point in the season(on track for 20-25 goals maybe) is this a guy who deserves 4+ million a year... quite the rip off if you ask me
