If Claude Julien was a good coach....

1: He wouldn't refuse to pair Kaberle with Chara in the 5 on 5.  A player that would accentuate his strengths in the offensive end and help mask his weakness' in the defensive end.  Instead he continues to send him out there with Seidenberg.  A player who does nothing but amplify his defincies with his own and hasn't gotten a shot through from the blue line since Valentines day

2: He wouldn't continue to roll his 4th line out every 4th shift.  Almost every coach in the league only uses there last line a few times a game when they feel their other lines could use an extra breather.  Claude on the other hand, has them out there with 2 minutes left of a game they are down 2 goals in

3: He wouldn't be so stubborn about altering his strategies.  You know why other teams keep picking off our defencmens passes for opportunistic breakaways on our goalies?  Because this team passes the puck backwards more than any team I've ever seen!!!  The other team knows they can just lay and wait and are given plenty of time to get into the neutral zone, turn around, face our zone and start moving forward again.  Because they know the Bruins are not going to be rushing passed them 99% of the time

4: He would have stepped in on Wards powerplay by now.  Their entries into the offensive zone are a mess and usually result in one of our 5 skaters, losing the puck along the boards to 2 of their 4 skaters and having it cleared up ice almost as soon as we get it in.  And when we actually DO get it in, the forwards stand around and kick it back to the defense for a bunch of easy to stop, one and done shots from the point

5: He wouldn't pick on Paille and Seguin every time they have a below average game and somehow miss the fact that Chris Kelly has had 20 below average games since he got here

6: He wouldn't have allowed his team to go into shutdown mode, while the other team races passed him with their hair on fire, when he had a 3-0 lead in a series and ended up suffering the most embarassing playoff collapse in NHL history

7: He wouldn't have allowed his team to come out inexplicably unprepared and unfocused for the first 10 minutes of the first two games of a playoff series against their arch rivals, whose ultimate strength is playing with a lead and shutting you down for the rest of the game

8: He wouldn't say Ya-Know after every 5th word that comes out of his squigly Charlier Brown looking mouth

This is the one time I will stick up for CJ and it is about rolling 4 lines.  Is there really a huge talent difference between line 3 and line 4?  Both lines do the same thing and get the same results.

And he doesn't roll 4 lines, look at the minutes played.  He doesn't go 1,2,3,4

    It's more like 1,2,3,1,2,4,1,2,3,1,2,3,4
