If Seidenberg had a wooden stick

If he did, it probably would have been another OT thriller last night.  Why do the $300 sticks break more easily that the $20 ones?  Brilliant marketing by the manufacturers.

What you can buy for $300 off the shelf from your local hockey store isn't what the pros use.  They have less fiberglass in their sticks and more carbon and they break more easily.  When pro returns come to my store there is no warranty on them.

The glare Rask gave Seidenberg after Denis bumped him on the second goal should be a good reminder for him to stay out of the crease unless a puck needs to be cleared.

Re: If Seidenberg had a wooden stick

They should all be made to use wooden sticks. These carbo/fiber sticks are just a manufsacturers dream and moneymaker. As noted in an other thread, chicago gained advantage with their quickness to get to pucks before the slower Bruins D-men, not just Chara.
