    Re: Jagr a Bruin

Imagine if we can now get Boyle or Streit.  We would have two very good units if we can. Can't wait to hear what this cost in order to see what we still have to work with.  If we gave Bartkowski + Koko deal I might prefer we stop now.  If we gave up lesser goods I would love to explore one of these Dmen for the PP.

Rumor has it Koko, Bart - 2nd round pick that might turn into a first.

    I think that's a high price honestly.

I can see CJ using him as primarily a PP specialist with limited minutes 5 v 5, maybe 8-10 minutes/game.  Immediate improvement to the PP, Jagr has Savard-like vision.

Why? He's not nearly the awful all around player people say. He'll get top 6 minutes after PP is factored in.

He should play about 15 a game.  Either on second line in place of Horton or on 3rd with Peverley.  Huge upgrade on the PP with him on the right and Seguin on the left. Dynamic!!

That does sound high to me as well.  I like Bart more then Koko.  I am glad that Krug looked comfortable, especially if this is true.

wouldn't all of the fans, Boston & Pitt have been happier if Iginla came here and Jagr went to Pitt?

say...  where's that guy that says that everything's rigged?

wouldn't it have been much better marketing that way?

    Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie 1m

DAL will receive prospects Lane MacDermid and Cody Payne (Plymouth) as part of the Jagr trade with BOS.

Hope he has one more good playoff run in him. Can still make some great plays/score goals @ 41. Would still have preferred Iginla, but oh well.

A steal of a deal.  He arguably fits the Bruins needs better than Iginla, and the cost is much less.

I think CJ will have him on a short leash given his defensive shortcomings.  Maybe you're right though and it's just a general perception that he can't play all 3 zones.   We'll see.

Glad Iggy trade bait names are still there Bart, Koko, guessing the 1st can't be traded if it is linked as a conditional though.

MDS - I've never heard of him, so I'm ok with it even if he had potential. I was worried it was Koko and Bart. I think one of them, not both, would have been enough.

Payne is the only piece that I think could bite the Bruins.  I didn't see it the one time I saw him this year, but I think it was Chowdah who said he has more long term potential as a power forward than Camara.  So...Jagr for a 2, basically.  And nothing from the roster.  Always a key part of the deal.
