Why not give the ahler a chance? He's got 12 powerplay goals; couldn't hurt the Bruins PP.
Pandolfo has not been a liability on defense, however hes got no offense skill whatsoever.

As much as we might want to, WE can not give anyone a chance. That will be up to CJ and PC and what we do know is they like to use vetrans and players with proven defensive liability over AHLers,

Isn't the team's 23 man roster full? If so, they probably can't send anyone down without putting them through waivers, and once down, the team can't recall them without sending them through re-entry waivers.

I just don't see Claude, as the Playoffs approach, being inclined to want to try out rookies. Over the years he has steadfastly - if sometimes agonizingly - tended to go with older, muckier, grindy...er? more battle-tested guys. Unless there is a crazy rash of injuries, I just don't think we'll see untried, untested youngsters in the B's line-up. I see Chiarelli more likely to support Claude by adding pieces from without (via the trade/rental wire) before he goes to Providence's cupboards. As curious as I also am - again barring injuries - I think the first time we see the likes Spooner or Tardif will be as Black Aces at Playoff time.

Pandopho isn't hurting them, but he certainly isn't helping.
6gp 0-0-0 with 1 shot on goal. I know he's not there to win the Art Ross, but even the Clown gets the puck on net.

I think injuries play a big role in who is called up and who there replacing, i dont think you call up a 1st./2nd liner for a 3rd line replacement, the bs are 29th in man games lost.
Pandolfo has the experience needed so let the guys in providence continue to develop, hey they have caron up and hes playing well on that 3rd line.
Lets hope the team stays healthy.

There are no "chances" here.
You must be ready to Play Bruins hockey !

Claude gets this rep as a guy who doesn't like rookies, but the evidence seems to go against that. The Bruins have brought more young players into the lineup in key roles under Julien than any coach since O'Reilly. And it has worked beautifully because there aren't many "chances". It isn't exactly earn it, either because Seguin didn't really "earn" a full year's salary as a rookie and you could argue Caron has never been better than on the bubble. But CJ puts the players on the ice that the organization thinks are best suited to helping the team win. Right now, you don't see them talking about how excited they are for Tardif to help them. Why? Because I don't think he can do what he does in the AHL in the NHL. Period.

Lifer AHLrs past the age of 25 like Witfield and Tardif should never be a Bruins uniform.

Better a burnt out vet who has played in the NHL than an AHL lifer who never was good enough to make the jump.

Re-entry waivers no longer exist.

Who cares that a 38 yr was good enough at one time to play in the NHL, now he isn't. There are better options than Pandolfo.
