That was a goal, but they aren't going to call it because you can't see the puck.  The puck is in his glove and the glove is over the line.

No goal so the excellent save stands...

And Hamilton is out there, but I'm not sure who he's paired with.

As an aside...did anyone see Campbell's face at the beginning of the period? A couple battle scars already...Bickel obviously landed a few.

One of those plays that would've been a goal had the ref called it one. That replay wasn't good enough to overturn his decision either way.

Rupp jawing at McQuaid...obviously does not want to fight Thornton again.

I know it can't be seen in the net.  But his entire f ing glove is in the net.

Rupp has done very well against ST In the past.

I would give rupp the edge in head to head matchups.

Wow.  Hamilton in the 3rd period is settling in and looking much more comfortable.

And yes, I am obsessed.  I have him picked for the Calder and a HOF defenseman.  That's quiet a bit I have invested in him.

So would I but today Rupp got bested, quite handily might I add. As someone posted on hockeyfights.com Rupp looked old and irrelevent.

Too bad.  If Bourque had kept his emotions in check he could have had his first goal on an empty net tonight

Rupp can chuck them with the best of them.  ST got this one late.  My point is Rupp isn't backing away from anyone.

Well, very good game by the Bruins overall. NYR just looked aweful. I am sure Torts is blowing a gasket in the locker room right now.

I do agree. I have liked Rupp since hi NJ days. Good, tough, honest player. He is going to be a good coach in the near future.

I found he looked comfortable all game maybe even saved a goal.  He played a simple game and that's what is asked of him.  Good job.
