Why did we see diving penalties called against pittsburgh and Thornton/SJ (omg!) in these playoffs but all that pansy flopping and faking didn't result in a single T against Montreal?
Montreal's behavior was revolting and embarrassing, but the fact is if the league isn't going to call them, then what reason do they have to stop faking?
It's little having a bratty kid. This is on the NHL. -

I could not believe that dive, no wonder the Sharks fold they way they do. I predict the Wings will end up taking that series.

No defense on that one, my friend. That's about as bad as a dive can get. He made a fool of himself. -

I agree he embelished it, lets not forget a 200 plus pound player swung his stick and hit him at the base of the foot. So your saying he is a diver. I don't think one incident warrants it. Just like when you blamed McQuaid for injuring himself while trying to throw a check on Richards. Don't think it is warranted. -

He was tapped on the skate with a stick. He wasn't two handed in the fact with an sledge hammer. There is no plausible way to defend this action.
He clearly dove, therefore he is a diver. -

Okay, in your view one instance means a label. So Joe Sakic is a fighter.
He clearly fought, therefor he is a fighter.

He was hit in the shinguard... Pretty protected area. He felt stick and he jumped. It was only missing the Riberio glove toss. -

Was it a dive. Yup. Is Thornton a diver? Nope. Was he even CALLED for a dive on the play? Nope. Are there any current players on the Bruins that have done the same thing recently? Yup. Chara comes to mind. But hey, its easy to bag on JT, he isnt here anymore. Hypocrites. -
