Khokhlachev will be an extra powerful spark plug to an already good AHL team on a roll.

Now can he be called up to Bruins,or does he have to stay in Providence, not sure how rules work?

Waivers and re-entry waivers depend on NHL games played and years in league. That is why Bourque had to go through waivers. Khokhlachev and Spooner will be fine for a long time.

    Re: Khokhlachev question

Just so you know, the new CBA eliminated re-entry waivers entirely (except for situations like Nabokov when then Islanders grabbed him).  We need not worry about other teams grabbing P-Bruins call-ups any more.  Only if they get sent down and aren't waiver exempt, like Bourque.
