Great for KOKO and PB's they are playing  fantastic hockey and could go all the way. I hope the parent club takes more notice.

Im with yah Stanley. Problem is, the B's are weary about his commitment to NA. There are some doubt if Alex would like to play here and not bolt down the line like others.

They had to be down his throat about coming back to NA and finish in juniors. So, the questions on his intentions are legit but so are his skills, very good player.

Not just because the 2 goals last night..this kid has had a great season in the Jr ....now hw just Became Pro and just started with the P-Bruins , it took Tommy Cross 35 games to get 2 goals with the P-Bruins and after 41 games with the team Zach Trotman has still only 2 goals....that gives you an idea of Koko's talent...I think Koko is the real deal...

Something we havent seen in the PBs for years now is a real talent for scoring kind of player. I have to or like to think that koko is gonna be that player, surprise us all and make the big club soon.

Why do I have a feeling that years from now he's going to be known as the guy almost traded for Jerome Iginla by both Bruins and Flames fans.

Good call BadHab.  Would be great if he develops into a good player, will take some of the Iginla sting away.  Hope Feaster and Flame fans also noticed his 2-goal game.

Not sure how well he did there, 7 points in 26 games.  Offense is his game, so I had the impression he struggled in Russia.

That said, great to see some points coming against men in North American style hockey.  I too think that someday we'll remember the trade that wasn't.

scooter - not to buy into the hype on Khokhlachev, but Moscow Spartak looks like an awful, awful hockey team.  Their leading point getter - after 50 games - is Branko Radavojevic.  You may remember Branko from his roles as "spare part forward #2" in Phoenix and "fourth liner with limited talent" in Philly.  Branko has 4 goals in 50 games.  Spartak's leading goal scorer only has 11.  They're the third worst team in the KHL.

Stanley - let's not get goofy with the comparisons.  For one thing, Trotman's a 7th round pick in his first full pro season.  If Khokhlachev doesn't have more offensive juice than Trotman, then we can go back to the questions about what the scouting staff is thinking.  For another thing, Branko Radivojevic had 104 points in 61 games for Belleville in his over-age year as a junior.  Big junior point totals in a limited period of time don't always translate.

It was 2 goals in one game.  Great!  Better than the 0 goals in the other 4 games he's played.  But let's not think the guy should be fast-tracked to the NHL because of one good game, okay?  He has a lot to prove still.

Bourque has 9 goals in 37. Games ....give Koko 37 game and he will have between 15 and 20 goals minimum ...not the same talent ...

Happy for his success but... doing it in the minors is NOT the same as doing it in the NHL.

    AHL totals422146285431284

Bourque:  146G   285A   431P in 422 AHL Games.  He's a PPG player in the A.  He's less productive than Ron Hextall in the NHL.  Now, I'm not saying Koko will be a bust, but scoring in the AHL is a far cry from scoring in the NHL
