Lecavalier given permission to seek trade

His agent was given permission to seek a deal but it's going to be real tough since he has a clause in his contract that he is due 2 million on July 1. Before I read that, I would have welcomed a Chris Kelly for Vinny deal. From what I read Chiarelli tried to get him last year after he was bought out.

Something tells me the majority in here would not be interested.

Nope. Defensive liability as last year's -16 shows. Pass.

I didn't see enough Philly games to offer an opinion for today's Vinny, but it's pretty damning that TB bought him out and just one year later the Flyers want him gone also.  There hasn't been an attitude issue with him, and it isn't money, so it has to be ability.

That is a dealbeaker yes. What an insane deal, almost incomprehensible in its stupidity.

He will be a liability to any team obtaining him...so, I guess, he will become a New-York Ranger...!

I and others have weighed in on the "value" of the +/- stat. I'm not in the mood to give this lecture again. If people haven't gotten it by now there's no point in repeating it. I was hoping for tenure next semester but apparently I've failed to reach the student population so I guess that isn't going to happen any time soon. Thanks, dumbasses! lol

    Dont forget ovie andbackstrom.

Vinny has slowed a lot.  Im not sure hes best suited for center anymore.  Id trade them Kelly plus philly eats half his contract.  I dont see him coming to boston.
