Glyder scored one goal in the Carolina series, that is not awesome. That is pathetic with the TOI he was getting. If you mentioned the bolded response to PC he would laugh at the suggestion.

It should be obvious that what I wrote about Ryder playing better in Dallas was not a criticism.  Very obvious.  I think you're the only one who tripped up on that.  Read it again.

The point is that when our 3rd line guys (Wheeler, Ryder) go to teams that give them 1st line opportunities and minutes, they produce more.  They are playing with 1st line guys, getting more ice time, getting more PP time, and focusing on scoring more than checking/backchecking in Julien's system.  You still with me?

So, the assumption that they would now come back to Boston, playing on the third line again with less ice time on a deeper roster, and miraculously produce differently than they did last time, is a dumb one. 

We can't offer the same opportunities for Ryder and Wheeler that they got in Dallas and Winnipeg.  It's simple.  If you don't understand that, read again, and again, until you do.

Anyone still think Chia was smart letting Ryder and Pouliot go? Looks like he's in a pickle now, looking for a player like Ryder of Pouliot. Thanks Chia, looks like you're going to have to give up the farm now (1st round pick, Coco, etc). Dumb to let Ryder go. He be a Bruins killer now till he retires.

Yes lets all remember Pouliots 1 goal in 7 games against Washington last year in the playoffs and his awesome dump-in-slapshot that sent Ward the other way for the OT winner in game 7.

Yah Montreal is going trade a player they just got to a division rival when both teams are battling for home ice advantage in the playoffs.

Anyone watch the TSN feed last game? The analysts made a point of showing Ryder floating around as Boston scored twice. They said his disappearing act (along with big cash) was the main reason PC chose to let him walk. Ryder was able to win because he was a Bruin. Not the other way around.Pouliot stinks. People should be embarrassed to suggest that he shouldn't have been let go.
